Make The Pledge
Regular screening is one of the most powerful weapons for preventing colon cancer. If polyps are found during colorectal cancer testing, they can often be removed before they have the chance to turn into cancer. Testing can also result in finding cancer early, when it’s smaller, easier to treat, and more likely to be curable.
I pledge to embrace the shared goal of reaching 80% screened for colon cancer by 2018.
I can help by:
- talking with my doctor and being up-to-date on screening
- encouraging others to be screened
Please talk with your doctor about when to be screened and what screenings are best for you. This is not intended to replace conversations with your primary care provider. Information gathered from this form will only be used by the American Cancer Society and the 80 x 2018 initiative to send out follow-up information.
